Events Upcoming EventsNo news right now We Remember...Deborah ArronDeborrah Arron died on April 14, 2002 due to complications from a bone-marrow transplant. She was a nationally acclaimed lawyer and public speaker. In 1989, she published a book Running From the Law about her experience of leaving the legal profession. She helped many lawyers experiencing career crises. (from her obituary, Seattle Times April 18, 2002) Jonanna BoylesJonanna Boyles died on January 2, 2003. She went into the hospital on December 8 and apparently was fighting a "CMV" virus. Jonanna had this "CMV" gene and the doctors were aware of it. The Bone Marrow Transplant was successful, but the "CMV" is what killed her. Those that walked the "Light the Night" walk for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Seattle in September, 2002, will remember Jonanna as a bubbly person who had a very positive outlook on her disease and felt at that time that she had beat it. If you would like to make a donation to the Hutch (as her family requested), we invite you to join us for a group donation from CBCs-R-Us Support Group. For more information, contact us. (written by Kathleen) Bonnie McDonaldIt is with great sadness that I relay the news of the passing of Bonnie McDonald at the end of January, 2003. Bonnie was an active member of our group and an inspiration to so many of us. It's hard to imagine our group without her. She was one of the most courageous people I've ever met. Her upbeat attitude was always with her, to the end. Dick said that she went peacefully and her oldest son was with her when she passed away. Bonnie loved angels. Her house was covered in them. Next time you see an angel, think of Bonnie.
