intention
An aim of ANON Faction is to provide administration to working
ChaoSorcerers (freestyle shamans, irreligious witches and anarchistic
Dark-Artists, etc.) for the transfer of information and group
operations transnationally, though primarily in the Pacific Northwest.
onomastica
"ANON" may be defined as a present and indeterminate
"other" time, without ego identification, or non-timebound
consciousness. The letters, A-N-O-N, also represent an existential
formula. The term "Faction" is used to represent the unique,
separate, and "against the grain" demeanor of the group.
anonyms
Members of the Faction are called "Agents" or
"ANONyms" and provide a series of field reports on various
experiments to a sponsoring member prior to and while engaging in
group activity. The Faction is a non-initiating working group,
although a ceremonial party may mark the successful completion of the Preliminary
Reports.
meetings
All meetings require a Recorder, who will assure that all important
aspects which take place will be audibly and/or visually recorded.
When convening in an unsecured location, a fall-back area is
designated beforehand in case unwanted interruption should occur.
Faction agents convene officially for one or both of the following
occasions:
- a Creator (the author of a specific piece) or Director (Main
Operator) calls for a group operation to test or experiment with a
new technique or ritual, and/or
- a Quorum is called for by any agent to discuss protocol,
administration, or any other thing which may affect agents
Faction-wide.
ops
Workings are often compiled into dossiers
when the intent or technique corresponds with the aim of a Project
Outline. Project dossiers, in addition to a coded roster page and
manifesto, form an agent's "Shadows Handbook".
media
Occasionally unrestricted items are distributed in "Feral
Mettle, the chaotick diary of ANON Faction."
