Readings We have two readings coming up. On December 7, at 7pm at University Bookstore come hear Nancy Pagh and Kathy Whitcomb read. We published Nancy's chapbook After last year and just published Kathy's Lamp of Letters this year. It's sure to be a great evening. And the next night, December 8, at 7pm at Bulldog News in the University District the Subtext collective will be reading.
Where's Pontoon? Just a reminder that Pontoon hasn't gone away. It's joined by a spectial section to make each issue of Floating Bridge Review.
When you're submitting for the Chapbook Award, you're submitting for Pontoon as well, just like always. (We suspect that folks were so eager to dive into Floating Bridge Review that they didn't notice that Pontoon was right there on the cover.)
Lamp of Letters is back from the printer and available for purchase. We are very pleased to be publishing this collection. Read it and you'll see why.
2010 Chapbook Award Soon we'll be reading manuscripts for the Chapbook award. The guidelines have been updated. Get those manuscripts in shape and send them in!
Reviews Read reviews of Floating Bridge Review Number One and Floating Bridge Review Number Two at Reading Local Seattle. And read the review of After at Fiddler Crab Review.
Donations Please consider making a donation to the press. In the current economic climate, grant funds are harder to obtain, and even our most stalwart funders have less to give. We are feeling the squeeze. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Floating Bridge Press so that we can continue our work publishing Washington State poets.
Lamp of Letters Katharine Whitcomb's 2010 Chapbook Award winner. Read more about it and order it here.
