Project Schedule:
Dates are binding, but design suggestions are not!
September 18th (3rd Tuesday)
- Owner provides collar cut from background fabric (example: cotton or batik)
- Baste onto a foundation layer (example: flannel, thin batting)
- Fill small box with items that coordinate for embellishment (examples: small pieces of coordinating fabric, ultra suede, prismatic foil, fibers, buttons, beads, sequins, rubber stamps, charms, metallics, thread, found objects, templates for 3-D objects like: leaves, geometric shapes, flowers)
- First embellisher starts background design on collar (examples: vines, leaves, triangles, flat applique)
