The goal of the '99-'00 program year was to explore different techniques for use in our own projects.
The challenge was to use what we learned, and model the result in the fashion show at the May 2000 PNNAG General Meeting.
This project started out with baggie-dyeing from our September '99 meeting.
It  includes airbrushing, machine embroidery, applique, beading,
and seaweed made from tulle and water-soluble stabilizer.

This vest won 2nd prize in the International Sulky 2000 Challenge.
All of the decorative thread is from Sulky® of America.

Fish Motifs are from "Indonesian Batiks"

The hand carved bone fish buttons are from a guy named Rupen in Nepal.
The sea anemones are made from baby yoyos embellished with Sulky threads.
Seaweed is made by snadwiching layers of tulle between layers of Sulky Solvy,
and then rinsing the stabilizer away with water.
