Round Robin Project - Collars
January through July 2000

Project Approach:
Exchanges are made by mail.
Embellishment materials are provided by the embellishers.
Leftover materials may be sent along for subsequent use and
potentially returned to the contributor at the end.
Harmonizing our work with previous rounds is part of the challenge.

Project Schedule:
Dates are binding, but design suggestions are not!

1/28/00
Owners cut a collar from background fabric (example:  batik), baste onto a foundation layer (example:  flannel), then provide to first embellisher.  Larkin provided a basic collar pattern as a jumping-off point.
3/8/00
First embellisher creates a flat background design (example:  vines, leaves, swirls, flat applique)
4/15/00
Second embellisher works on top of background (example:  dimensional flowers)
5/22/00
Third embellisher works among previous work (example:  more dimensional flowers)
6/29/00
Last embellisher adds buttons, charms, beads, etc.
