THE POOR FOLK UPON THE MOORS

The Sherlock Holmes Society of the South West of England

“It is my business to know things. Perhaps I have trained myself to see what others overlook.”
(A Case of Identity)

THE TORR

Our biannual journal written by the members is free to everyone in the Society. The journal contains news, reviews and various articles and letters, all of which celebrate Sherlock Holmes and his creator and may help us to understand the times they lived in. This illustrated publication also brings you Society news, the editorial, "Murmurings from the Moor", and reports on Society events and functions. Contributions from new members are always welcome and our editor, Reggie Musgrave, is always on the lookout for any items which have a Sherlockian connection. Our other publications include Monographs and Pamplets
