The Paranormal Is Terrific

air spike beyond
the bonds of reason
highly reusable highways
of light
"where I get my ideas
don't you have somewhere you
get ideas?"
beam boost
light craft lake
crush that leaps 30 years in a single bound

"Ideas fly in with UFOria"
a beam from eye to I
50 years ahead of time
as great a catch as Willie Mays

"I don't get ideas but
charges
hits
& hopes"

"when I have an idea
it's usually to go get a highly reusable laser hamburger"

An American Poem

In New York in autumn leaves don't change
colors. They wither & tumble
or wilt & stay stuck on the trees.
What's special in New York is Saturday night.

It's a gun: It's the night
brokers have off
from robbing people to mug people.
Look at us & tell us what we need to know.

Nature? One birch after another
turning yellow.
Is there a gunsmith handy?
Have a nice trip-see you next fall!
