JUST ASK YOURSELVES:
Would you want a train longer than a football field, running at-grade through
your neighborhood 20 hours a day every 4 to 5 minutes?
What about safety? The Rainier Valley has more kids than any other Seattle
neighborhood. The on-grade tracks will cross 54 neighborhood streets!
Would you want your "stations" to be covered platforms in the middle of
the street?
Would you want to have to walk, bicycle or drive up to 5 blocks out of your way
just to cross the street?
Is it fair that the Rainier Valley the most diverse and vulnerable community in
Seattle is asked to bear over 89% of the business and housing adverse impacts?
Save Our Valley says that the tunnel is the only way to build light rail in the Valley!
