Edward Nelson Sears House
10426 SE 25th Street
Although it has been altered, the Sears House retains much of its original Craftsmen character on its exterior and interior. It is one of the extant houses built in this area of Bellevue. The original house is what is known as a Wilson Bungalow, a standard house plan of the 1910 era.
Edward Nelson Sears was a lawyer who came to the Seattle area from Missouri in 1907. He built this house in 1910.
The Sears house relates to the study unit theme of architecture. It is also important because of its history.
