Us 
The Capitol
Hill Community Council is an organization dedicated to serving our community.
Founded in 1968 the Council has been an active participant in the City/Neighborhood
decision-making process and has been an active proponent for our community.

Membership
is open to all residents, businesses and property owners of Capitol Hill. Capitol Hill's boundaries
are roughly I-5 to the West, E Pike Street to the East, 23rd Ave E to
the East and Roanoke to the North. There are also other neighborhood
associations throughout the Hill that you also might be interested
in learning more about. The Capitol Hill Community Council works collaboratively with these
other groups to help support their initiatives.
You might
recognize some of our work around the neighborhood:
Pocket
Park - Corner of Harvard Av E and E Roy St.
Metro Bus Route #8 - championed by the Council and other neighborhood
groups.
Pedestrian Improvements - 12th Ave at E Thomas St, Melrose and Denny
crossing.
Traffic Revisions - Identified safety improvements needed at various
intersections such as the new stop signs at the Lakeview/Belmont intersection.
