CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE!

Rep. Cody has introduced a junkfood bill in the House and is holding a Health Care Committee hearing Wed. Feb. 19. If you live in one of the districts of a member of this committee, contact him/her before Wednesday and tell them how important it is to you to get Junkfood marketing and sales out of schools. Ask them to support HB1866!

* Kids NEED access to healthy food at schools. We must halt the epidemic in child obesity and diabetes!

* Schools can make as much or MORE MONEY selling healthy foods and beverages in vending machines!

* Without any GUIDELINES, schools have turned into a junkfood free-for-all. This bill asks local districts to set policies to get it under control.
