Politics/Congress
LOCAL APPROACHES
NATIONAL APPROACHES
In
order for sanctions to be lifted, ultimately decisions will have to be made by
the Congress and the Administration. Congress and the Administration can be
approached in two general ways, directly and from below. Certainly any actions which
you take at a lower level (e.g., resolutions, letters, etc.) should be forwarded to Congress
and the Administration. If you would like to become involved in direct lobbying of
Congress, contact Eric Gustafson at the Education for Peace in Iraq Center (EPIC).
Eric is a Gulf War vet who has been working diligently
for several years lobbying members of Congress.
Eric can be reached at EPICenter@igc.org, (202) 543-6176.
