Compass Center
Family and Adult Service Center (FASC) Adult Day Center Program
Drop-in center 11 am - 7 pm daily. Pick up mail, pick up phone messages. Lunch served daily 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Some dinners served. Laundry & showers available to both men & women 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Towels & soap provided. Sign-up that morning for a time slot for either service or both, with showers and laundry facilities. Service requires registration.
Family and Adult Service Center (FASC) Family Program
Emergency shelter for families with children under 18. Resource for diapers, children's clothing, etc. For men to stay with women and families, must have either marriage certificate or birth certificate for the child with both parents' names. Program has undergone significant changes in early 2008; phone them for details.

Open Monday-Friday for street youth ages 13-21.

Open 365 days a year, 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

English and Spanish-speaking. Drop-in shelter and hot meals. Hours are Tues.-Sun., 6:30 am-2pm. Breakfast 9-11 am, snacks and coffee all day. Clothing available as needed through St. Francis house. Job training, computer and ESL classes. History Channel, Discovery Channel, and other educational programming. Classic Spanish-language movies every Saturday night. Mass on Thursdays at 11 am.

English and Spanish-speaking. Drop-in center; offers refreshments, but no housing. Hours are 8am-5pm, M-F. Provides drug and AIDS street outreach for at-risk HIV and STD communities, including HIV testing and counseling. Special services for pregnant mothers and newborns. Harm reduction, bleach distribution, condoms, needle/sex education outreach network. Offers referral to job training, employment, moving, haircuts, and infant mortality resources. Assists clients entering treatment and detox. Offers 12-Step meetings, self-esteem groups, videos.
Family Services
Free diapers and children's clothing for homeless families.
Therapeutic daycare (ages 1-4). Transitional housing, eviction prevention services.
SHARE Storage Facility
Storage of small quantities of clothes, luggage, etc.; either a locker (lock provided) or shared storage in a locked room for slightly larger items. Drop off and pick up 6:30am-8:30am M-F, 7am-9am Sat-Sun. No money payment required, but participants are expected to work one 2-hour shift/month, and attend one organizing meeting/month on a Sunday morning.
Real Change
Seattle's weekly "homeless paper". Vendors receive first
10 copies free. After that, vendors pay 35 cents a copy, leaving the
vendor a 65 cent profit on each paper sold. Orientations at 1pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Transitional Assistance Program
Limited assistance in crisis situations for homeless in King County.
