Program Manager's Corner

Mae Olson recently retired from the regular Tuesday grind at the Seattle Habitat for Humanity office. She had been with us for over 4 months as an office volunteer and came to us through RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). Tuesdays will just never be the same! We will miss your cheerful ways, Mae. Thank you for all your help.

The Seattle Habitat for Humanity Computer Support Group is a newly formed group of old and new volunteers who support Habitat by donating their computer expertise and skills. Setting up the office computer network, designing (and redesigning) the database, and developing our WEB page are some of their accomplishments. Special thanks to Al Boss for creating and maintaining our WEB page, and to Bill Nolan, Dan Whitman, and Holly Irick who have come to our aid in times of crashes and crisis and are still committed to our cause! Welcome to Miles Reid who will be helping us with a WEB conversion, and to Sherry Shriver for her willingness to jump onboard without really knowing what she is getting herself into! We really are indebted to your commitment.

Last but not least, our heartfelt thanks to the numerous office volunteers without whose help our life would be miserable! We need you, we love you, and you do make a difference!
