Save the Date, Habitat Supporters!

The 1997 Seattle Habitat for Humanity Auction is scheduled for Sunday, November 16th at 3:30 p.m. This year's auction will take place at the Atrium in the Seattle Design Center. Items already on the auction table include a Caribbean cruise, 2 nights lodging and a Thanksgiving dinner at the Mazama Country Inn, movie and sporting event tickets, and numerous restaurant gift certificates. If you are interested in donating procurement items, the following is a list of ideas: frequent flier mileage, any "get-away" travel packages, used cars in good condition, restaurant gift certificates, and other high value items you would like to donate.

We are still looking for volunteers to build a few more playhouses. If you are interested in building one for the auction, you can pick up playhouse kits at Eagle Hardware and the Home Depot. If you are creative and want to design your own masterpiece, contact the auction committee for help with obtaining supplies. (David Dehlendorf, (206) 784-8682)

The Seattle Habitat for Humanity Auction raised nearly $50,000 last year, and this year, we have a goal of $75,000. Please join us in an evening of fun to help support Seattle Habitat for Humanity!
