Seattle Habitat for Humanity welcomes new Board members

Sharlet Driggs: Sharlet first heard about Habitat while watching a news program showing the damage to homes in Florida from a recent hurricane. The least damaged homes had been built by Habitat for Humanity. At the time, Sharlet was just getting started in the construction field and though this would be a great way to get experience. She is now Chair of the Construction Committee, bringing with her experience in project management & estimating, and has been working for Habitat for six years.

Lynn Schut: New Chair of the Family Planning Committee, Lynn Schut currently works as a physical therapist for the Edmonds School District. She brings to Habitat excellent people and communication skills and is very excited to have the opportunity to work on the board of directors. Since beginning with Habitat five years ago, Lynn has already participated in two Global Village builds in Mexico and Honduras.
