  • Approximately 20,000 of these newsletters were sent out to Seattle Habitat for Humanity supporters! (6% of these will come back because of incorrect addresses, so PLEASE let us know when you move).
  • As of the October 31st deadline, Seattle Habitat for Humanity received 68 homeowner applications for houses being built in 1999.
  • Habitat affiliates span 60 countries and are in more than 1,400 U.S. communities, building over 70,000 homes in partnership with low-income families.
  • To date, Seattle Habitat for Humanity has 9 standing committees and 11 regularly scheduled office volunteers (and could always utilize the skills of additional volunteers!).
  • It takes about $66,000, excluding the purchase of land, to build a new Seattle Habitat home.
  • We recently purchased 10 pounds of coffee for consumption at our worksites.
  • Seattle Habitat for Humanity had 241 items donated for our Auction this year.
