This group of volunteers contributed 1,345 hours
in 1998, which roughly equals one part-time employee!

During the Blitz Build in September, 1998, volunteers representing 35
different organizations, individuals, and homeowners built 4 homes in 8 days.
Over 400 volunteers worked more than 10,000 hours building these homes.

In addition to groups working at the Blitz Build, 86 different
organizations and hundreds of individuals worked at South Park and
Lexington Place to help Habitat homeowners build their dreams.
These groups contributed over 8,648 volunteer hours!

**Figures for volunteer hours were calculated from site sign-in sheets, office sign-in sheets, and committee minutes. These numbers are conservative estimates, and actual contributions are considerably larger. Thanks to Habitat staff and office volunteer Ellen Gordon for compiling this list.
