CD RELEASE PARTY A HUGE SUCCESS

Nextel Communications and Seattle Habitat for Humanity hosted a CD release party for "The House that Music Built" at the Elysian Brew Pub and Restaurant in Seattle on July 13. It was a great opportunity to enjoy live music from the artists who contributed their time and talent to produce the CD that will "build" a Habitat house in White Center this fall.

Besides great music, wonderful food and beverages, and a chance to recognize the hard work done by Nextel Communications on this project, the party was an opportunity to purchase the first copies of "The House that Music Built." The CD is receiving a lot of radio play and has been applauded both locally and in Portland where Nextel is also building a Habitat House.

Our deepest thanks go out to all those involved in this project. Nextel Communications has shown us another way to help low income families become homeowners!
