Would you like to get working
on-site?
Do you like working with others and
being a leader? Seattle Habitat is
having a Crew Leader Orientation on
Tuesday, October 12 at 6 pm at St.
Patrick's Church. We are looking for
volunteers who would like to make a
six-month commitment to work one
Saturday per month as a crew leader.
You will be assigned to one work site
and lead a small group of general
volunteers working on various
construction tasks. The ability to lead
and supervise volunteers is key to
success as a crew lead (we will give
you the skills to do the construction)!

Looking for volunteers who like to
talk (about Habitat!) Seattle Habitat
will hold a Speakers' Bureau Training
on Wednesday, October 20 at 7pm at
St. Patrick's Church. Volunteers will
learn to make presentations to the
community about the Habitat mission,
projects and volunteer program. After
this training, you will be able to do
basic information sessions about
Habitat, as well as conduct volunteer
orientations to interested volunteers.
After completing the training, you will
be included on a list of speakers
available to spread the word about
Seattle Habitat for Humanity. Contact
