| Volunteer Opportunities Come join us at one of the Seattle Habitat volunteer
orientations. These meetings prepare prospective
volunteers to help Seattle Habitat and take place on the
second Wednesday of each month at 6 pm and the last
Thursday of each month at 7 pm. You will learn about
the mission and history of Seattle Habitat and the
available volunteer opportunities, including construction,
committee, office, and special event support. All
volunteers must attend one orientation prior to
volunteering. Evening orientations are held in the
basement Fellowship Hall of St. Patrick's Church
located at 2702 Broadway E. (On the north end of
Capitol Hill where 10th Ave. E. intersects Roanoke).
Volunteers do not need to RSVP for evening
orientation sessions.
To expand opportunities for our volunteers, we have
added daytime orientations. These orientations are held
the first Wednesday of each month at 10 am at the
Habitat office, located at 306 Westlake Ave. N., Suite
210 (we're three blocks north of Denny Way in the
Trick & Murray office supply building). Space is
limited, so please RSVP if you plan on attending the
daytime orientation.
For more details about our volunteer orientations, see
our prospective
volunteer pages on this website
or call the office for a brochure. 206-292-5240
"Thank you to Construction
Volunteers..."
Thank you to all the volunteers contributing their skills,
time and enthusiasm to building dreams in Shoreline, the
Central Area, and at our warehouse. Over the past few
months, your efforts have enabled Seattle Habitat to
complete homes at Shoreline and at the 20th Avenue
site and keep our warehouse running smoothly.
| Thank you to the
construction
volunteers from
June - August 1999.
