At the 2003 Quinn Conference in Wichita, the members present
elected the following to lead the Division:  

Vice Commandant Northwest - Wayne Dale (Dept of WA), 

AssistVice Commandant -Dennis Dressler (Dept of WA).  

Both of these offices are for two years and will be installed at the
2003 National Convention.  At the same meeting I appointed Jeannine
(Bunny) Gray (Dept of OR) as the NWDiv Aide-de-Camp.

At the 2002 National Convention in Hershey, PA the Division was
honored with the National Recruiting Award (Second Place).  This
honor belongs to the hard working Departments and Detachments 
throughout the Division.  Considering the Divisions involved in this
effort I think the Northwest did an outstanding job.  Perhaps this
year we can move into first place.  I am aware that several potential
Detachments are in the organization process and will continue the
growth of the Division and the League.

Phylis and I continue our nomad life style and are having a blast. 
At this time (end January) we are in the Dallas/FtWorth area and
still trying to get far enough south to get back to warm weather
(like Las Vegas). Have some family in this area so will continue to
say dirty words about sub-freezing temperatures for a little while
longer. Hope to see everyone in the Spring and since the National
Convention will be in Spokane this year, I hope to see
a bunch of the Northwest there.
