conducted by a panel of volunteers. The individuals on the
panels vary from interview to interview. An average of 7 panelists attend
each interview. The questions asked are the same for each candidate
interviewed. The panelists' grades for each of the five (5) subject areas
(listed below) covered in the interview are averaged to provide the letter
grades provided here.
The letter grades are given in the format XXXXX, where each X stands for
the panel's average letter grade for the candidate in the following topic
areas (and in this order):

- Youth & Schools
- Family Values
- HIV/AIDS and Privacy
- Legislative Issues

For example, a letter grade of ACABA means that the candidate received:
