REFERENCES for SOCIOLOGY

Look these up for your for social studies

by Phil Bartle, PhD

Introduction to the Module (Hub)

Documents Included in this Reference Module

Sociology as a discipline has many scholarly references

This module contains various references of use to students writing papers or doing research.

Some other references are located in the documents containing the lecture notes.

While Wikipedia does not have peer reviewed articles, readers do have the opportunity to ask that inaccurate material be removed.

Read with some scepticism and discretion, it can be a useful source of reference material.

A good social science reference site to see is the Dead Sociologists Society.

It can tell you much of the origins of many sociological approaches and observations.
