Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility / Seattle

CPSR/Seattle is the local chapter of the national CPSR organization. The Seattle chapter was founded in 1983 and has been very active in supporting issues like:

CPSR/Seattle meetings are suspended for the time being. At the latest Shaping the Network Society symposium, there was talk about reinvigorating the chapter. Please contact Doug Schuler (douglas@scn.org) if you'd like to work on this.

• A local CPSR email list you can join to be aware of CPSR issues in the northwest and nationally. local-computer-activists@scn.org. To join you can send mail to majordomo@scn.org and include in the body the text "subscribe local-computer-activists your_email_address@yoursite.org"
• You are automatically added to a "members only" email list (cpsr-seattle) when you join CPSR and declare the Seattle Chapter. (You can do this no matter where you live.)
