All groups listed in this section have support groups meeting in Seattle. Some have groups meeting in surrounding communities as well.
In general, 12-step groups ask for donations at meetings, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.

For those seeking sobriety (or information about AA).
Al-Anon Family Groups
For relatives and friends of alcoholics (people who have been affected
by someone else's drinking) in Seattle/King County. Also groups for teenagers.
For addicts seeking recovery.
Nar-Anon Family Groups
For relatives and friends of drug addicts.
24-hour hotline. For persons addicted to drugs.
For persons with eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, and obesity.
There are a particularly large number of 12-step meetings at
