Dave is the co-founder of the IDA. He is a self described evangelist of stopping light pollution. He feels strongly about the subject and believes that fighting light pollution is a win-win. It is a win for the astronomers, a win for the electric bill payers and a win for the citizens because light pollution friendly lighting is beautiful lighting; no glare and easy on the eyes. He is also a professional astronomer.
