The Benefit Committee works with the Speakeasy staff and others to ensure that
the benefit is entertaining and enjoyable for all attendees while helping to make it a financial
success for CPSR. Chair: Aki Namioka
The Database and Registration Committee works with conference organizers and
attendees to ensure that everybody gets registered properly and that everybody gets the right
information on a timely basis. Chair: Carl Page
The Facilities Committee works with conference organizers and with University
of Washington staff to make sure that the facilities (rooms, audio-visual and computer equipment)
at the conference site are appropriate for the conference.

The Outreach Committee works with co-sponsoring and supporting organizations
to ensure that their members hear about the conference and that the conference is useful to
their mission. Chair: Aki Namioka
The Proceedings Committee works with panelists and other conference participants
and organizers to ensure that the proceedings are attractive, economical and useful.

The Program Committee works with panelists and others to ensure that the events
of March 1 are entertaining, provocative, educational, and useful, to a wide variety of conference
attendees. Chair: Doug Schuler
The Publicity Committee works with conference organizers and the media to ensure
that people that would be interested in attending the conference hear about and that people from
the media that cover computer culture and other related areas are informed about the conference.

The Volunteer Coordination Committee works with conference organizers and
volunteers to ensure that potential volunteers find suitable work and that all the necessary
volunteer tasks get done. Chair: Ti Locke
The Webmaster and Graphics Design Committee works with conference organizers and
others to keep the web site up to date and easy to use and to develop hardcopy design as necessary.

The Workshops Committee works with conference organizers and workshop organizers
to ensure that the workshops are well-attended, effective, diverse, and useful.
