Claude Monet, the famous Impressionist painter noticed the beauty of the Water-Lilies. He built his own Water Garden and painted the lilies in many different views. True, they are very impressive, I keep taking photos, again and again.and hope for the best one yet. _________________

BUILDING A GARDEN POND

From my own experience building a Pond is a lot of fun. I started with one and ended with four. It made a great difference in the garden. It is most rewarding and greatest contribution to the enjoyment of gardening. Strange, rocks are the greatest expense. Adding the Gazebo was almost as rewarding and at a very low cost.

PLANTS FOR THE GARDEN POND

create the greatest challenge. With a few rocks and great verity of plants available, it takes time to find out what is   suitable and what will survive the winter. Our gold fish survived the winter with 4" of ice, but then blue herons caught  most of them. Water plants are more indispensable anyhow.
