APSE (A Project Studio Environment)
is a half-time, 8 credit program that runs from Fall 2006 until
Spring 2007. A 12 credit option is also available. (There is a
specific item on this form related to this option.)
Doug Schuler is facilitating the program.
Students are expected to work
approximately 16 hours per week outside of class on program work —
mostly working to develop their project.
All APSE students are expected to attend all program sessions unless
there are compelling reasons why this is unworkable. There is an
area below to describe these circumstances. Any missed work will be
made up as arranged by the student and faculty member.
Nearly all the students in this program are working adults
between 20 and 55 years old.
The Evergreen State College
is a 4-year non-traditional
interdisciplinary college 70 miles south of Seattle.
