MORE ABOUT THE PSEEC . . .
The PSEEC's missions and goals include:
* increasing the effectiveness of the engineering profession and societies
in the Puget Sound regional area;
* providing a forum for the discussion and dissemination of views on
issues and programs affecting the engineering profession and societies, and
the general public;
* promoting and encouraging public awareness of and education in
engineering and the profession of engineering;
* promoting and assisting the coordination of engineering society
activities;
* providing workshops and other educational resources for
engineers and schools to enhance the teaching of math, science and
technology in K-12 classrooms, and to recruit and administer engineers for
these purposes;
* providing a depository of or access to engineering resource materials
for engineering societies and the general public;
* sponsoring seminars on engineering for members of the engineering
profession and the general public; and
* functioning as a Regional Site for the National Engineering Registry of
Volunteers.
The PSEEC is the education division of the Puget Sound Engineering Council.
