Frequently Asked Questions About Allergies
How can I avoid allergies?
- Avoid all unnecessary chemicals, i.e. fabric softeners, perfumes,
scented products, dry cleaning, use of pesticides and herbicides,
alcohol, coffee, smoking, drugs, mercury amalgam (silver) dental
fillings, flouridated or
chlorinated drinking water, new carpets, and
unnecessary remodeling of buildings. Avoiding toxins is key.
- If you must smoke or consume alcohol or coffee, use only certified
organic and all-natural products.
- Eat organic, natural foods whenever possible. Avoid junk food, fast
food, and
overly processed or packaged food. Avoid excessive wheat and dairy.
- Avoid unnecessary medications. Even
too many natural supplements or the wrong ones can cause problems.
- Find a healthy way to deal with stress, such as aerobic exercise, tai
qi, yoga, meditation, etc.
How can I rid myself of allergies?
Keep in mind that all allergies are treatable. There is no allergy in
the world that you must live with.
Allergies are consequences of choices we make. Do not expect to make
poor choices about health and your environment without expecting to suffer
the consequences. Allergies are caused by toxicity in our environments,
among other factors. There is no quick fix to pollution and toxic
medicine as a mainstream practice.
