Barbara Luecke was one of the two Santa Barbara transplants who initiated the Fremont Solstice Parade in 1989. She has been one of the mainstays of the Fremont Arts Council ever since, and one of the most effective promoters of the parade and its funky creative energy.
In her 1995 incarnation as a household goddess, Barb "grew" the extra hands she often wishes she had as the mother of two young boys. A project coordinator for the King County Public Art Program, she has contributed her expertise in administration and grantsmanship as well as papier-mache and paint. We're looking forward to many more years of fun, Barb!
