Patrick Casey got what every little kid dreams of: his very own two-man dragon and a Dad to help steer the little float along and interact with the huge crowd at the '97 Fremont Solstice Parade. Float was constructed on a converted newspaper delivery cart and featured rolling eyes, an articulated neck and biting jaw, as well as little kid sound effects as the dragon "roared" for the spectators. Patrick is the younger son of Barbara Luecke, a leader of the Fremont Arts Council and a cofounder of the Parade.
