VERY IMPORTANT NOTE

Tue Jan 13 15:32:55 PST 2004

GLUE and BOHGOF are merging.

BOHGOF has been focused on the needs of graduate students while GLUE focused on the needs of faculty and staff. With a steady decline in participation in GLUE's activities it was deemed best to merge the groups to provide a better forum for all of us.

The new group has not yet been given a name. It might continue to be known as BOHGOF (Bitter Old Hags, Grumpy old Fags) or it might take on a new name to reflect its broadened scope.

You are strongly encouraged to subscribe to the BOHGOF mailing list to keep informed of what is going on. The GLUE email list will very likely be discontinued shortly.

The new website will be BOHGOF's site. This one will be left as a pointer so people can find us. Please look at this site for updates.

OUTDAWGS activities and events will continue under the sponsorship of the new group and will always be open to anyone from the University (student, staff, faculty) who wishes to participate.

GLUE is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, sexual minority, and other interested employees at the University of Washington.

MISSION STATEMENT

ALL ABOUT US

Gay and Lesbian University Employees (GLUE) enjoys serving gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and other sexual minorities employed at the University of Washington. Our meetings provide the foundation for a wide variety of events including:

SOCIAL GATHERINGS
We provide GLUE members a chance to meet and interact with "family." The GLUE social organization, OUTDAWGS, hosts gatherings and brown bag lunches. These socials are open to anyone from UW who wishes to participate, not just faculty and staff.

Lunches are the third Thursday of the month from 11:30 to 1:15 (or so). Location is announced on the GLUE mailing list, along with several other lists including those for campusQ, asuwgbltc, PRIDE DAWGS, and BOHGOF.

Planning for OUTDAWGS events happens on the outdawgs@castle.org mailing list. Membership in the list is open to anyone associated with the University of Washington who is friendly and social.
