The Harvey Muggy Stonewall Democrats Organization is the only statewide political organization that works within the Washington State Democratic Party to influence policy on issues of importance to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered community. We work as Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) and as officers in many Legislative District and County governing bodies. PCOs have a vote on important appointments, and having GLBT voices heard ensures we get candidates who are committed to civil and human rights for all. It also gives us a chance to fill some vacancies with GLBT candidates.
