Please mark your calendar - the date for the 2^nd Annual community wide summer picnic/BBQ has been set for September 16^th.   It will once again be located on 49^th Street, just off 48^th Drive. 
Last year, everyone had a great time, meeting our neighbors and eating good

food.  We hope that with this more advanced notice, we'll see even more of our neighbors this summer.
If you would like to help out on the planning or preparation of the picnic, please contact one of the board members.

The weekend of May 19 - May 21 has been designated as the Annual Neighborhood Cleanup Weekend. Three large dumpsters will be provided for disposing of yard waste. These dumpsters are made available by the annual dues paid by residents of HCCA. Only members of HCCA who have paid their annual dues may use the dumpsters. If you have not paid your dues please send $20 to Toby Hurlburt, HCCA Treasurer, 5108 155^th PL SE Bellevue, WA 98006.
The Entrance Island on 48^th Dr.  will be cleaned up beginning at 9 am on May 20^th. Volunteers are needed to trim trees and shrubbery, weed the garden area, clean up debris and plant flowers. 

As a special enticement, donuts will be provided! Please come and help out and meet your neighbors.
Remember that the dumpsters are for YARD WASTE ONLY. Nothing over four feet long or four inches in diameter is permitted. Last year Christmas trees and firewood were dumped which is not acceptable. Also, no rocks, dirt, machined wood  or garbage may be dumped.
