All Horizon Crest residents and owners are encouraged
to attend!
At this meeting, we’ll be
nominating and electing 1998 officers. Also, Tom Noguchi of the
Bellevue Transportation Department will give a presentation, and
other issues may be discussed. See the January 1998 newsletter
for details.
From the responses received on the 1998 membership forms (through
February 1st), these are the issues that Horizon Crest residents
want to see addressed by HCCA in the future:
| Enforcement of Protective Covenants (view blocking) |
| Crime (increased police patrols, Neighborhood Watch program) |
| Neighborhood Enhancement Projects (sidewalk repairs, street lighting, neighborhood parks) |
| Spring Cleanup (dumpsters again in ‘98, coordinated community garage sale) |
| Code Compliance : Clear sidewalks (overgrown landscaping blocking sidewalks) |
| Code Compliance : Traffic (speed, failure to stop at stop signs) |
| Code Compliance : Parking (long term street parking, blocking sidewalks) |
| Code Compliance : Dogs (barking, pooping) |
| Miscellaneous (coyotes killling pets, better maintenance of yards) |
Your involvement is vital if any of these items are to be addressed by HCCA in 1998!!
1998 Annual
Membership Drive Update
The 1998 Membership Drive is off to a flying start!
As of Friday, February 6th, we have 79 members! That’s 70%
of our goal of 114 members (half of the Horizon Crest homes) in
1998!
We have six brand new members in 1998!
But, 40 members from 1997 still have not paid their 1998
membership dues!
Because of the great response we’ve had so far, the due date
for payment of 1998 dues has been extended! So mail your payment
today! Use the coupon and pre-addressed/stamped envelope that was
included in the January 1998 newsletter!
Mail your check for $20, made out to Horizon Crest Community
Ass’n to the address in the newsletter.
We’re especially looking for members from Division Three (at
the west entrance) and Division Four (at the east entrance).
These two Divisions only have about 22% members in1998. Division
Five has about 32% members, and Division Two has about 51%
members.
But we need everyone who was a member in 1997 to pay their dues
again in 1998, and, of course, we’re always looking for more
new members!
