Camp I-VY
Appeal Letter for August 2001
Camp I-VY is just around the corner and the Hemophilia Foundation of Washington needs your help in sending campers affected by bleeding disorders to this wonderful camp.
Camp I-VY is a summer camp for families living with Hemophilia or other bleeding disorders. The camp program gives children and adults the chance to experience the great outdoors while providing a relaxed environment for educational sessions. Without sponsors such as American Red Cross, Camp I-VY would not be possible. With over 120 campers, Camp I-VY is one of our most successful programs. We continue to touch the lives of many families with bleeding disorders. Many of these families have not had the opportunity to meet others in the same situation. The children who attend camp have the chance to enjoy vigorous activities with the security of on-site medical facilities and staff who understand their unique situation. Your generosity gives campers a week of smiling, running, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, singing, and fellowship. Nothing compares with the joy felt when you hear the laughter of children at Camp I-VY.
