For our spiritual development each year we choose spiritual qualities to develop within.
Our
Spiritual Focus
for 2008:
"Creating Cultures of Peace, Justice and Healing for the Earth and All Living Beings."

In 2007 we chose the Universal Values of our First People's:
Through our
individual uniqueness, guided by Spirit,
we give back to
the Web of Life
with humility, gratitude and respect:

Fortitude, Spirituality, Patience, Virtue, Honesty,
Integrity, Peacefulness, Humility, Courage, Generosity, Relationship, Sacredness.

In year's past we have drew from the
Divine Feminine Qualities;
Baha'i Faith Virtues;
Capacities of the Mystic identified by Brother Wayne Teasdale; and Living Values reflected
in the Declaration of Human Rights.

As a community we strive to develop these
spiritual qualities within.

Our Sunday Worship Celebrations, held each Sunday morning at 10:00 am, represent new and renewed forms of worship that have evolved from the collaboration of individuals from many faith and spiritual traditions united in celebration.

We honor the uniqueness and sacredness of each faith and spiritual tradition and desire to experience the richness, beauty, and love each tradition evokes in the hearts of its followers. We strive to provide a safe environment in which we can deeply share and experience this richness, beauty, and love through song, sacred writings, prayer, chant, and ceremony.

FIRST Sunday
Rev Karen Lindquist co-creates the worship with a guest from one the world's diverse religious or spiritual traditions on the first Sunday each month at 10:00AM.
10:00AM Sunday, AUGUST 3rd:
The Art of Being "A Contemplative in Action"
with Tim Malone, M.Div.
This service will allow time for silence, chant and spoken word, including your own!
How do we sit secure in the Source -- amidst our often over active lives? How does the way we view the divine sometimes define and limit what the Divine can do THROUGH us -- for the greater good of all? Is it possible to just "show up" -- and trust that all wil be provided for, that we will be led to serve in the way the world needs the most? Come explore together these themes amidst prayer and meditation from multiple spiritual traditions including St. Ignatius, who embodied a way to be "contemplative in action" 450 years ago, still practiced today. About Tim Malone, M.Div: During his 20 years in Seattle Tim has served as counselor, peace activist, retreat leader, meditation mentor, spiritual director, leader of music and chant, and teacher of Prayer and different Spiritualities. As a bridge between cultures and spiritual traditions, Tim leads a six-week Pilgrimage each Spring to encourage dialogue between the World Religions. He is entering a sabbatical period after six years at the Ignatian Spirituality Center to study healing and energy Medicine. Visit Tim's website for more info; www.timmalone.org.
