First as a Tibetan Buddhist student with Shambhala International, and later as a Zen student with One Drop Zendo, Sibyl has studied with Tibetan lamas and Japanese Zen masters since 1985. Her current spiritual practice is Ch’an, the Taoist-influenced, Chinese form of Buddhism that migrated to Japan to become Zen. As adjunct faculty at Marylhurst University in Oregon, Sibyl teaches courses on Buddhism for the Religious Studies Department. Sibyl has been a member of the Interfaith Community Church since 1999 and has served as a support to the ministerial circle for many years. She was the 2006 recipient of the Interfaith Council of WA's Appreciation Award for her dedication in the promotion of interfaith understanding. Sibyl was first called to be an Associate Minister in the summer of 2007. After a year of reflection, contemplation and prayer, she accepted this call. Sibyl spends her weekdays bringing an awareness of Spirit (and the proper use of English grammer) to the corporate world. Visit
