Next Meeting:  Career Fair Event

Meeting Overview:

Please join us for an exciting evening of career planning! You will have the opportunity to talk to professional recruiters and counselors while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks in a friendly environment. All skill levels, students as well as seasoned professionals, are encouraged to attend.

We will have experts on the following topics:

  • resume reviewing - highlighting your skills and accomplishments
  • how to interview effectively - making the right first impression!
  • hot technical skills - positioning yourself for the best opportunities
  • using the internet - when is it appropriate? how to do it effectively?

Our team of professionals includes Microsoft, Weyerhaeuser, King County-Metro, State of Washington representatives and independent career counselors. Attendees will receive personal, one-on-one attention and advice.

Free Member Massages

The Association for Women in Computing is happy to introduce Joy Kamrin, Licensed Massage Practitioner. Joy will be conducting free chair massage at the next 5 monthly meetings from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. A sign-up sheet will be provided at the door. Enjoy!

Monthly Meetings

Puget Sound Chapter meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month except for the months of July, August and December, in which no meeting is held. The location of the meeting is in Seattle.
