How did the Kenmore Heritage Society get started?

During the community celebration at the time of the City of Kenmore incorporation,
a historical display was presented which was of high interest.People were asked to sign up
if they were interested in learning more about Kenmore history ...
and the response was overwhelming.
At our first meeting one month later in September 1998, fifty people came to a planning
meeting, and ... the Kenmore Heritage Society was born!
