Students and community members gathered in Red Square at the University of Washington to demand that the University cease doing business with the Coca-Cola corporation until Coke provides AIDS treatment to its workers in Africa. The event was part of Global Day of Action in which activists in 15 countries and 12 college campuses in the US demanded accountability from multinational corporations for their policies in the developing world as their employees struggle to survive amid the worldwide AIDS crisis.
