Street Repairs and Utilities Improvements

Each year, funds are allocated to Laurelhurst for traffic circles, walkways, and other street projects. We rely on our neighbors to identify and prioritize items that need attention.

New Community Project:
Sidewalk Repair

Karl Weyrauch is organizing a project to improve sidewalks in the neighborhood. The project has three main elements, so far.

Educate neighbors about sidewalk safety problems
Build an inventory of sidewalks in need of repair
Work with the City, LCC and neighbors to share costs of repair.

Cars parked on sidewalks a hazard to pedestrians - January, 2002
Street work doesn't prevent market opening - May/June, 2001
Progress made on shoreline street ends - May/June, 2001
Neighbor proposes to replace fountains - May/June, 2001
