A Message from the President
Karla Lacktorin

As we embrace the year ahead with a newly elected board with exceptional professional experience, expertise, and abilities, I am truly encouraged and excited about the direction of PTDN.

In the words of Stephen Covey the 8th Habit: From Effectiveness to Greatness:

"Leadership is communicating people's worth and potential so clearly that they are inspired to see it in themselves. It all begins with oneself."

I am very fortunate to have such high-level professionals to work toward our unified goal of promoting diversity in the workplace and the community. We have very important work to accomplish. Employers, Associations and the Community at Large, rely on us to assist them in acquiring and retaining the best of the best in the Talent Market.

My pledge to you is to apply my skills, and ideas combined with the brilliance of the board, to continue to operate from my heart with the utmost of dedication to our mission.

"To unite employers and professional organizations that share an ongoing commitment to the enhancement and recruitment, development and retention of diverse professionals and technical specialists"

I stand before you both humbled and honored to serve you as the Board President.

Karla Lacktorin
