PTDN Mission
The mission of PTDN is to unite employers and professional organizations that share an ongoing commitment to the enhanced recruitment, development, and retention of diverse professionals and technical specialists.

 

 

 


Organization Partners

PTDN's member organizations are referred to as "Organizational Partners" or "Affiliates". Affiliates are recognized organizations that promote and emphasize diversity in professional and technical fields; attract experienced practitioners; and support ongoing professional development through quality programs. Where both professional and student chapters exist, the professional chapter shall hold membership in PTDN. If no professional chapter exists, the student chapter may become a PTDN affiliate.

Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW)

ATW is a non-profit organization that supports women and men worldwide who share the common interests of empowering women in technology, increasing the number of women in executive roles and encouraging women and girls to enter technology fields.

American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES)

AISES is a national, non-profit organization which nurtures building of community by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values. Through its educational programs, AISES provides opportunities for American Indians and Native Alaskans to pursue studies in science, engineering, business, and other academic arenas.

Association of Filipino American Engineers of Washington (AFEW)
AFEW seeks to encourage professional and social interaction among its members. It raises community service and scholarship funds by organizing regular social events. It fosters the professional development of its members by sponsoring technical events and supporting activities of the Puget Sound Engineering Council.

Association for Women in Computing (AWC)

AWC is an all-volunteer association dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in computing through networking and professional development. Membership is open to all individuals interested in information technology. Our members work in a wide range of settings including industry, education, government, non-profit, and consulting organizations. A broad range of technical disciplines and experience levels are represented. We offer special rates for full-time students, and award a yearly scholarship.

Professional Latino Association Northwest (PLAN)

PLAN was established in 1991 to address the under representation of Latinos/Hispanics employed in the public and private workforce by producing the "Annual Hispanic Career Fair"; providing a mentorship program for 400+ high school Latino/Hispanic students to encourage the students to pursue higher education; and providing scholarships to Latino/Hispanic high school and college students to pursue and achieve their educational goals.
