Karla served as PTDN Board Vice President, Puget Sound Chapter since 2003 and has been an active PTDN Employer member since 2000. She is a Sr. Staffing Consultant with over 28 years in the Human Resources field. She has Human Resources expertise in recruiting, sourcing, selection and employee retention; Employment and Affirmative Action laws and regulations, managing, leading and coordinating staffing and employment functions; and in providing Human Resources Consulting services for public, private and not-for-profit employers. Karla has gained expertise and insight to the client prospective, as well, from her employment with community based organizations and government agencies as a Placement Specialist, Interviewer and Vocational Counselor. She continues to demonstrate a strong commitment in promoting workplace diversity and supporting diversity initiatives within the community, as demonstrated in her vast business and community partnerships and community participation. Karla has served on numerous advisory boards, and participates in speaking engagements for job seekers hosted by community based organizations, state agencies, and professional associations throughout the Puget.
