COOL YOUR JETS
You certainly know me well
all the way from the bluebird feather
duct-taped to my ass
to the urine cactus I decorated
with bright helium rags. I picked up a small bunch
of green bananas, a gallon of spring water,
3 oranges and a little spark shifter that
burnt a little man's arm as I carried it past the park
(my mistake). Let me steer you clear of the ravens
and lead you on the march of dimes.
We could shine them together
and become the focus of the nation.
I'll be waiting with my wedge drawn for the fear it dissolves.
In case of fire: lick rock or like rock or just delve into
the baser distinctions between absolutions. Fuck you!
I'm all for your proposal and your arousal.
In my house certain funds were earmarked
for a good learning camp for you
so that you would straighten up, fly right
and cool your jets. But the invalid mind readers
broke you down under their brutal circumstances.
We're all fit to be untied but by what time?
And who will look out for us while you are out
chasing stuff all over town? I loved you, now get over it.
